KALAMAZOO, MI -- On Jan. 7, Western Michigan football coach P.J. Fleck did something he had not done before in his time at the school.
During a team meeting, Fleck displayed the Cotton Bowl logo on a screen in front of the room for all his players to see, and it may have surprised a few.
"I've never really done that with our football team before in terms of a result-oriented goal, it's always been process, process, process," Fleck said during a press conference Sunday after the team accepted an invitation to appear in the Cotton Bowl.
