Western Michigan Men's Tennis Earns a Pair of Road Victories

West Lafayette, Ind. - Western Michigan men's tennis earned a pair of victories over Eastern Kentucky and Purdue on the road to move to 3-0 on the year. Both matches took place on the Basham Courts in the Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Ind. The Broncos defeated Eastern Kentucky 4-0 to start the day and then defeated Purdue 4-2 later in the day.

In doubles, Maik Steiner and Jimmy Beckwith went undefeated on the day downing Eastern Kentucky's Soares and Patwardhan 6-1 and defeating Purdue's Dages and Silva 6-1 as well. The duo of Ruben Greiner and Daniel Loebel also went undefeated on the day clinching the doubles point in both matches.
