KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan outscored visiting Jacksonville by eight in the final five minutes of the game to erase a four-point deficit and post a 76-72 victory in its final non-conference contest of the season.
WMU trailed by as many as eight with 9:09 to go, but a pair of three pointers by junior Tucker Haymond helped the Broncos get back in the game.
Two free throws by sophomore guard Thomas Wilder with 1:33 remaining made the score 71-70 in WMU’s favor and put the Brown & Gold ahead for good.
