There's a buzz surrounding the Western Michigan University hockey team this upcoming year. After last season was disrupted due to injuries to key players, the Broncos come back this year much healthier and ready to live up to their high expectations.
The Broncos come into this season ranked No. 19 in the U.S. College Hockey Online preseason rankings, while being picked to finish in fourth place in the ultra-competitive National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC).
Having one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country to go along with playing in the conference that has had the last three National Champions could be seen as an overwhelming task.
