KALAMAZOO, MI -- Anna Corbett scored a career high all-around score of 39.175 to help lift Western Michigan over Ball State in gymnastics at University Arena on Saturday.
Western Michigan edged Ball State 194.800 to 194.675 for the Mid-American Conference win.
"I thought we really came back strong on floor at the end," said WMU coach Penny Jernigan. "We were trailing almost the whole meet by just a little bit.
"We didn't have the performance that we wanted on beam, but they really rallied on floor. Some of them put in the best floor routine of the year.
