Football season may still seem far away. But Western Michigan has used the spring to get ready for the upcoming fall days.
The Broncos just finished their 15th and final spring practice last Friday as they prepare for the 2019 season.
Fans were able to get their first look at the team on Sat. March 23, as the team held an open practice at Waldo Stadium that lasted about an hour and a half.
Broncos head coach Tim Lester said it was great to get the fans out to see the team and explained why the team holds an open practice instead of the traditional spring game.
