Western Michigan Falls to Miami in First MAC Road Game

OXFORD, Ohio – The Western Michigan men's basketball team fell at Miami, 91-71, on Saturday in its first MAC road game of the season.

Four Broncos scored double-digit points for the afternoon, led by 14 points. Joining Strickland in double-figures for WMU (3-12, 0-3) were and , who tallied 12 points apiece, and , who netted 11. had six points and a team-high eight rebounds, while added nine points and seven rebounds off of the bench.

Miami (11-4, 3-0) got out to an 11-4 start in the opening five minutes of the contest. With the margin at 13-8, the RedHawks rattled off nine points in a row to extend their lead to 22-8.
