KALAMAZOO, Mich. – In its final tune-up before the start of the 2023-24 regular season, the Western Michigan men's basketball team knocked off Kalamazoo College, 94-63, on Wednesday evening at University Arena.
The Broncos broke an early 6-6 tie with an 11-point run which gave them a 17-6 advantage just over seven minutes into the contest. Just past the midway point of the half, Western Michigan rattled off another eight in a row to expand the margin to 29-14. In the latter stages of the period, the Brown and Gold used a 12-2 surge to open up their biggest lead of the half, 48-28.
