The WMU athletics diversity task force We Must Unite is planning a march for social justice on Friday from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
The march will start at Kanley Track and end at Waldo Stadium, looping around W Michigan Ave between the Seibert administration building and Bernhard Center.
Athletes from all WMU varsity sports teams are expected to be present for the march, with different teams having different start times to assist with social distancing. Face coverings will be required for the student-athletes attending the march.
The student-athletes are strongly encouraged to make signs with social justice-focused messages and to wear their We Must Unite t-shirts.
