Western Michigan senior quarterback Jon Wassink said in the spring that he would be healthy by the time fall came around.
On Tuesday afternoon at MAC Media Day at Ford Field in Detroit, Wassink confirmed that notion, saying he is “definitely 100 percent healthy.”
Wassink suffered a season-ending foot injury last season late in the year in a home game against Toledo. The Broncos then had to turn to freshman Kaleb Eleby in the midst of competing for a MAC title.
It was the second straight season Wassink suffered a season-ending injury.
