COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Western Michigan junior Paul Washe and freshman Ronnie Attard have both earned National Collegiate Hockey Conference weekly honors after their performances in WMU's series at Colorado College.
Washe has been named Bauer NCHC Forward of the Week, while Attard was named Bauer NCHC Defenseman of the Week. It is both the first NCHC weekly honors of their careers.
Washe had a career weekend as WMU took five of six points at CC, scoring two goals and adding three assists. He opened the series with a career-high three points in Friday's 6-3 win.
