Wade Allison Named Clark Cup MVP

KEARNEY, Neb. -- Incoming Western Michigan hockey freshman Wade Allison capped off his final year in the United States Hockey League leading the Tri-City Storm to the Clark Cup Championship after the Storm defeated the Dubuque Fighting Saints 4-1 on Friday night.

Allison had an assist and a goal on the night and was named the Clark Cup Playoffs MVP after tallying 16 points in 11 games, including nine goals and three that were game-winners.

In the Clark Cup Finals he tallied five goals and four assists in the three-game sweep.

Allison has had a banner year in his first year in the USHL after scoring 25 goals and 22 assists for 47 points during the regular season.
