BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Drake LaMont scored 13 of his 17 points in the first half and Western Michigan built a double-digit lead early and held on to beat Bowling Green 74-68 on Saturday.
Western Michigan (10-15, 4-8 Mid-American Conference) snapped a three-game skid, and beat the Falcons (13-12, 4-8) for the first time since 2011.
Tucker Haymond and Thomas Wilder added 14 points apiece for the Broncos.
Spencer Parker had 16 points to lead Bowling Green, which shot just 15 of 32 for 47 percent from the line.
