EAST LANSING, -- The Western Michigan volley ball team wrapped up the Auto-Owners Insurance Spartan Invitational with a pair of sweeps over Wright State and Canisius on Saturday.
Junior outside hitter and sophomore outside hitter were both named to the All-Tournament Team. King finished the weekend with 3.67 kills per set, 33 total, and Wilcoxson had 3.0 for 24 total. King also had 3.0 digs per set.
WMU came strong out of the gate in its 3-0 (25-17, 25-22, 25-15) win over the Raiders, led by Wilcoxson and her match-high 13 kills. She had nearly half of her kills in the first set, recording six and hitting .
