CLEVELAND – For the second week in a row the Western Michigan volleyball team swept the Mid-American Conference West Division weekly awards, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Junior Rachel Bontrager once again earned MAC West Offensive player of the week while junior Kathleen Reilly earned Defensive player of the week honors. The duo of freshman Rose Duffy and Mary Marzo shared the honor of MAC West Setters of the Week.
The Broncos over the weekend defeated Montana State, Loyola-Maryland and host school Loyola-Chicago to capture the 2019 Rambler Challenge and improve their overall record to 6-0 this season.
