RIO VERDE, Ariz. – Western Michigan sophomore Megha Vallabhaneni turned in the second-lowest single round in program history as the Broncos wrapped up hosting the Rio Verde Invitational on Sunday.
Vallabhaneni shot a 67 to shoot up the leaderboard and finish tied for 24th with a 54-hole total of 220 (+4). After a tough opening round of 80, the Northville, Mich., native shot a 73 on Saturday and then took another six strokes off in the final round with the help of five birdies.
Graduate student l finished with a 244 (+8) after a final round of 77.
