SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Western Michigan finished the first two rounds at the Terrier Intercollegiate, hosted by Wofford at The Carolina Country Club on Monday.
WMU shot a 310 in the opening round and a 317 in the second, for a 36-hole total of 617 (+51). The Broncos sit just six strokes outside the top five in the field.
Individually, junior Megha Vallabhaneni was WMU's top finisher. Vallabhaneni opened with a 73 and then closed out the day with a 78 for a 151 (+7) and tied in seventh place heading into Tuesday's final round.
