OXFORD, Ohio – The trio of sophomore Sydney Shafer, redshirt senior Reilly Jacobson and redshirt freshman Taylor Williams combined to score 58 points as the Western Michigan women's basketball fell short at Miami 73-64 on Wednesday night inside Millett Hall.
The trio of Broncos scored 58 of WMU's 64 points against the RedHawks with Shafer, Jacobson and Williams shooting a combined 44 percent from the field and 68 percent from the free-throw line. Leading the way for WMU was sophomore Sydney Shafer with 23 points, one shy of her career-high.
