MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up the 2021 Indoor Mid-American Conference Championships on Saturday, scoring in the mile run, 800-meter run and the 60-meter hurdles.
After qualifying in yesterday's preliminaries, freshman Ahvon Mitchell ran a time of 8.80 in the 60-meter hurdles to take sixth overall. Mitchell earned three points scoring in her first ever MAC Championship appearance.
Senior Rebecca McNamee scored in both the mile run and the 800-meter run. McNamee turned in a personal-best performance in the mile run after finishing with a time of 4:56.
