Track & Field Travels to Minnesota for the Annual Jack Johnson Classic

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team continues its run though Big 10 country, heading to the Jack Johnson Classic at the University of Minnesota on Friday and Saturday.

The Broncos will face a tough test against the 11th ranked Gophers, along with competing against Marquette, North Dakota State, South Dakota and Omaha. The non-scored meat begins at 3:55 p.m. on Friday. This is the third-straight season that WMU has competed at the long-time running meet named after former long-time Gopher equipment manager, Jack Johnson, who passed away in 2006.

This is the first meet of the season for WMU athletes to compete in the pentathlon.
