KALAMAZOO -- The Western Michigan track and field program and head coach Kelly Lycan have announced the hiring of Patrick Tracy to the position of assistant coach for the start of the 2015 indoor season.
Tracy joins the Broncos after spending time as the throws coach at Central Methodist University since 2014, where he also pursued a masters of education in sports administration. At CMU he created and implemented year-round practice and strength training regiments for all throwers. With Tracy's help CMU produced two All-Americans, three conference champions, five national qualifiers and 13 all-conference selections.
"Patrick is a very intelligent young guy that brings a lot of enthusiasm," said Lycan.
