KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- After winning eight events, posting eight PR's and earning one top-10 mark in program history at the Jack Shaw Invitational this past weekend, the Western Michigan track and field team will look to keep up the momentum when it heads to the Jesse Owens Classic on April 19-20.
SCHIERA'S RECORD BREAKING PERFORMANCE
Kayla Schiera shattered the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase back on March 29 at the Raleigh Relays, posting a time of 10:03.93. Her time is more than 30 seconds faster than the next best time in program history.
