CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- The Western Michigan track and field team had a strong day at the Miami (FL) Hurricane Collegiate Invitational, headlined by and posting top-10 times in program history.
Ferrari dominated the long jump event by earning a mark of 6.08 meters. That was good for the third best outdoor mark in program history. was also strong in the event, as she claimed seventh place with a jump of 5.63 meters. Ferrari also raced in the 100-meter hurdles, recording a time of 14.48.
Jones was also able to enter the record book, earning the ninth best time in program history in the 100-meter dash.
