INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Western Michigan track and field team produced some strong results between the Gerry England Invitational and the Hoosier Horsepower Classic. That included a win in the 60-meter hurdles by Jade Celestine at the Gerry England Invitational. She posted a winning time of 9.22.
The only other athlete competing at the event was Kennedy Hagens, who finished fifth in the weight throw with a mark of 15.24 meters.
At the Hoosier Horsepower Classic, Sandra Ferrari had a great day, competing in both the long jump and 60-meter hurdles.
