KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- After some outstanding performances in Texas and North Carolina this past weekend, Western Michigan will stay closer to home with a trip to Michigan State for the Spartan Invite on Friday, April 5.
SCHIERA'S RECORD BREAKING PERFORMANCE
shattered the school record in the 3,000-meter steeplechase this past weekend, posting a time of 10:03.93. Her time is more than 30 seconds faster than the next best time in program history. Furthermore, she currently sits at first in the Mid-American Conference and third in the nation with that time. She beat four All Americans from other programs in the event.
