BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- After a strong day yesterday, the Western Michigan track and field team continued to put together solid performances on the final day of the Gladstein Invitational hosted by Indiana.
Tess Van Dyk was terrific in the shot put, earning fifth place with a distance of 12.88 meters. Lane Hagens and Kennedy Hagens also competed in the event. Lane Hagens claimed 11th place with a distance of 11.52 meters. Kennedy Hagens placed 14th after recording a distance of 10.55 meters.
Anichka Malachi competed in the long jump, where she was able to nab sixth place, jumping a distance of 5.
