Top 25 ranking for Western Michigan football 'means everything'

KALAMAZOO, MI — For the first time in program history, the Western Michigan football team is ranked in the top 25 of the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, and it's made an impact on defensive end Keion Adams.

The Broncos are 5-0 for the first time since 1994 with wins over two Big Ten teams, Northwestern and Illinois, as well as Saturday's 49-10 rout at Central Michigan.

"It means everything," Adams said Tuesday. "It means everything for the university, it means everything for our team, it means everything for our community.

"To come from 1-11 to see where we are now.
