Less than two months ago, Western Michigan football’s 2019 season came to a devastating end in a 23-20 last-second loss in the First Responder Bowl against Western Kentucky.
Now, it is time for the Broncos to officially turn the page to the 2020 season as spring practices begin Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Here are three things to watch before the Broncos kick off their spring season.
After sitting behind a healthy Jon Wassink last season, all eyes will now be on redshirt sophomore quarterback Kaleb Eleby as the man under center in 2020.
Fans were able to catch a glimpse of Eleby in 2018, when he filled in nicely toward the end of the season after a Jon Wassink foot injury put him out for the last part of that season.
