WMU men’s basketball came out on the losing end on their home floor against one of the best teams in the Mid-American Conference on Tuesday night, falling 71-67 to the Akron Zips.
The third-straight loss dropped the Broncos to a tie for last place in the MAC West division.

Free throws were the difference
For the game, WMU was outscored by Akron 19-2 at the free throw line, which proved to be the biggest difference in the game.
In total, Akron shot a total of 27 free throws compared to the Broncos four attempts.
