KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan women's basketball won its second consecutive game on Friday evening in a convincing 85-50 victory over Kentucky State inside University Arena. The Broncos improve to 3-0 at home this season with the win and are 46-30 under WMU head coach Shane Clipfell when playing for its home crowd.

"We had a little bit of a slow start tonight but not surprising because of exam week," added Clipfell. "Credit Kentucky State, I thought they came out and delivered a couple blows to start off the game.
