KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Western Michigan junior outfielder Ivy Schaaf, senior second baseman Melissa Palmer and junior third baseman Kelsea Cichocki were recognized as three of the top players in the Mid-American Conference entering the 2016 softball season by College Sports Madness. Schaaf earned a preseason All-MAC First Team nod, while Palmer and Cichocki were named Second Team.
All three started all 51 games for Western Michigan last season and earned MAC All-Tournament Team honors after leading WMU to the championship round.
