KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The American Hockey Coaches Association released its list of Krampade All-American Scholars this afternoon, with Jacob Bauer, Cole Crusberg-Roseen and Daniel Hilsendager headlining the list for Western Michigan.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
Bauer concluded the year with a 3.97 cumulative GPA in Accountancy. He was awarded NCHC Distinguished Scholar Athlete status earlier this season. On the ice, he appeared in 27 games, dishing out four assists.
