Thomas Wilder's career game leads Western Michigan past Eastern Michigan

KALAMAZOO, MI — Western Michigan's men's basketball team has dominated Eastern Michigan at home, losing just once at University Arena in the last decade.

That didn't change Saturday afternoon as the Broncos knocked off the Eagles, 94-86.

Point guard Thomas Wilder continued his superb play, scoring a career-high and game-high 35 points on 9-of-13 shooting. He also added 10 rebounds and four assists, recording his first career double-double.

Early on, the sophomore took a reserved role in the offense as the Broncos attacked inside. After scoring 11 points in the first half, he added 13 points in the first 10 minutes of the second half to help sustain WMU's offense as EMU made a charge.
