TOLEDO, Ohio – Western Michigan University held a 15-13 halftime advantage, but Toledo scored 21 points in the third quarter to overtake the Broncos on their way to a 34-15 victory over WMU on Saturday at the Glass Bowl.
hit 15-of-29 passes for 232 yards and added a rushing touchdown for the Broncos (5-3, 2-2). paced the WMU receiving corps with eight catches for 128 yards for his fifth 100+ yard performance of the season. added five grabs for 88 yards. led the Western Michigan defense with 11 tackles.
Toledo (4-4, 2-2) got on the board first, converting good field position into a short field goal just over four minutes into the contest.
