The Broncos Are In 13th Place After Round One of The Rio Verde Invitational

RIO VERDE, Ariz.- The Western Michigan golf team finished round one of the Rio Verde Invitational tied for 13^th place and nine strokes behind leaders Bradley and Toledo. The Broncos best round of the day was posted by Chloe Lawrie who finished round one 2-over par for a score of 74 and is currently tied for 11^th place. Kaitlyn Watkins recorded an ace on the 16^th hole for her first career hole-in-one. Watkins is currently 3-over par with a score of 75. Freshman Sara White posted a 5-over par 77.
