KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- A pair of Western Michigan softball seniors collected postseason accolades on Thursday, May 20. Mackenzie Swinehart was named first team all-leaague by the Mid-American Conference, as well as third team all-region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. Sydney Stefanick was selected second team All-MAC.
Swinehart capped her career as the program's all-time leader in games played (225). In her final campaign this year, she led the team and finished fifth in the MAC with a .393 batting average, while her .466 on-base percentage also led the team and slotted 10th in the league.
