KALAMZOO, Mich. – A strong second half propelled the Western Michigan women's soccer game to a 2-0 win over Wright State at the WMU Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon.
After a back-and-forth but scoreless first half, WMU (3-1-0) dominated early in the second half and picked up goals from Hannah Kahn and Alyssa Burke to put the Raiders in a quick 2-0 hole. The defense held from there, with sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Sargent making four saves to earn her second shutout of the season.
Kahn struck first in the 47th minute to give the Broncos a 1-0 lead.
