ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Western Michigan track and field team wrapped up competition at the Wolverine Invite at the University of Michigan on Saturday.
WMU had a strong showing in the field events, highlighted by a second place finish by sophomore Gabrielle Collins in the long jump. Collins, who won the long jump at last weekend's Ice Breaker meet against Oakland, jumped 5.64m (18-06) and just missed out claiming the top spot over South Florida'S Katlyn Gill by 0.08m (3.25 inches). Sophomore Erica Sheahan finished in seventh after reaching a distance of 5.
