The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that former Western Michigan linebacker Robert Spillane has been signed to the team’s practice squad.
Spillane was signed to the Steelers offseason roster back in February and was on the team through training camp and the preseason. He was released just a few weeks ago so the team could sign tight end Alize Mack. Mack was then released last week to make room for Christion, who was needed on the Steelers scout team to imitate Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.
In his career, Spillane has made $154,706 in earnings since 2018 according to overthecap.
