Kalamazoo, Mich. –- The Western Michigan softball team completed a series sweep over the University of Akron with a 3-2 win over the Zips. would see a game-high two hits in the Broncos series ending victory, while collected 10 strikeouts to lead WMU to the series win.
Despite trialing early with a two-run deficit in the first inning, the Broncos battled back by combining for a total of six hits, including a home run from Rissa Bajusz, to give WMU their fifth straight victory.
The Broncos saw their 2-0 deficit after the Zips opened game two with two runs in the top of the first inning.
