CLEARWATER, Fla.- The Western Michigan softball team picked up two wins in Florida Saturday, defeating Holy Cross 4-2 and St. Francis 10-8.
Sophomore pitcher continued her hot play, batting .625 for the day, going 5-for-8 with a home run and driving in five runs. All five of her RBIs came in the 10-8 win over St. John's as she hit a two-run single in the sixth and a walk-off three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh.
In a back-and-forth game, St. Francis scored a run in the top of the seventh to take an 8-7 lead.
