KALAMAZOO, Mich.- Coming off their final seven games of a 12-game trip in Florida, the Western Michigan softball program swept the Mid-American Conference West Division weekly awards on Tuesday, March 15.
Junior Erin Binkowski was named Player of the Week and senior Allyson Kus earned Pitcher of the Week honors.
Binkowski batted .458 with three home runs and seven RBIs over the seven-game stretch. She collected 11 hits total, and at least one in each of the last six games. She had multiple hits in four games and multiple RBIs in three games.
