MUNCIE, Ind. – The Western Michigan softball team split a doubleheader at Ball State on Friday afternoon. The Broncos took game one 6-4 but fell 7-6 in the second game.
WMU improved to 21-18 overall and 8-6 in the Mid-American Conference.
GAME ONE
The Broncos jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning. Marlee Wilson and Jenna Faultersack both got on base before Kaylen Glenfield launched a three-run home run to put WMU on the board. The home run was Glenfield's fifth of the season and pushed her RBI total to 18.
