KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Western Michigan softball team heads down to Ann Arbor to take on the University of Michigan on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Carol Hutchins Stadium.

The Broncos head into the week after a strong performance at Notre Dame last Wednesday. WMU fell to UND, 2-1, with sophomore Casey Fazzini pitching her first career shutout. The Santana, Calif., native went 6.0 innings, allowing just five hits and two runs. Tristin Head was responsible for WMU's lone run, hitting a solo home run in the top of the second inning.
