MUNCIE, Ind.- The Western Michigan softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader Friday at Ball State. The Cardinals slipped away with a 5-4, nine-inning win in game one and downed the Broncos 6-2 in game two.
Western Michigan will look to avoid a series sweep in game three tomorrow. First pitch has been bumped up to 9 a.m. from 1 p.m. due to inclement weather expected to hit the area.
Bronco sophomore center fielder Aspen Williams hit a home run in each game for her first and second home runs of the season.
