ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Western Michigan softball team fell on the road at Michigan, 12-4 on Tuesday afternoon.
The Broncos started off strong with scoring on a groundout to short stop to make it 1-0 in the top of the first inning. then hit a two-run home run to make it 3-0. The long-ball was Head's third of the season and second-straight game going deep.
Michigan responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning off of a RBI double by Lauren Putz, a fielder's choice by Megan Beemer, and Putz scoring on a wild pitch.
