Tie game in the top of the 10th inning with a runner on first and two outs. Stepping up to the plate in that situation is something every kid who has played baseball has dreamed of. Cade Sullivan was not only able to live that dream in Western Michigan’s second game of the season, but he made the most of it.
Sullivan came into the at bat with 28 collegiate career home runs, tied for the most in program history. With one swing of the bat, he not only became the career home run leader at WMU, but also put his team ahead 11-9 over Michigan and set a precedent for how the season was going to play out.
