CLEVELAND – Western Michigan baseball sophomore RHP Easton Sikorski has been named Mid-American Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
In game one of last Saturday's doubleheader at Alabama A&M, Sikorski made his second career start and picked up his second career victory in 12-0 win for the Broncos. Sikorski pitched a career-high eight innings, allowing no runs on two hits while strikeout out a career-high 10.
Sikorski's 10 strikeouts were the most by a Bronco pitcher since Nic Laio had 10 back on April 27, 2018 versus Eastern Michigan.
