KALAMAZOO, MI - For the first time since 2012, the Western Michigan will travel east on I-94 for a nonconference matchup with in-state foe Michigan as part of the Broncos' 2018-19 men's basketball schedule.
The program released its full slate of games Wednesday, and the Wolverines are one of three NCAA tournament opponents on the schedule, joining Cincinnati and defending Mid-American Conference champion Buffalo.
"Every year we challenge our team to a very difficult non-conference schedule and this will be extremely challenging for our young basketball team," head coach Steve Hawkins said in a release.
