Shane Clipfell earns his 100th career win at WMU as Broncos top Eastern Kentucky 64-53

Western Michigan women's basketball (4-2) survived by a score of 64-53 against a struggling Eastern Kentucky team (0-6) who after Wednesday night, are still looking for their first win of the season.

It was an all-around effort today as four players scored in double figures for the Broncos. Senior Forward Meredith Miller and sophomore Leighah-Amori Wool led the way with 12 points each. Senior Guard Deja Wimby had 10 points and Jasmyn Walker added 11.

Eastern Kentucky led 32-31 at half only to be outscored 34-21 in the second half. While there were 11 lead changes Wednesday night, the Broncos led Eastern Kentucky for most of the game, spending 26:14 ahead of Eastern Kentucky.
